Sahlen Field, in Buffalo, New York, is home ballpark facility for the Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Opened in 1988, and originally known as Pilot Field, the venue replaced the Bisons’ former home of War Memorial Stadium (1979-1987).
The stadium was the first retro-classic ballpark built in the world with plans for MLB expansion. In 2020 and 2021, it was the temporary home for the Blue Jays during the COVID-19 pandemic.
